Teenage nude pix return to haunt woman

IPOH: A woman from Gopeng near here is living in fear after she was threatened for a naive mistake made when she was younger.
When she was 15, the woman, who wished to be known as Anne, had innocently sent her then boyfriend several nude photos and videos after being persuaded to do so by him. To her horror, the photos were forwarded to his friends which later went viral.
Anne, who is now 20, said her ex-boyfriend, who is a year older, then moved to another school but his friends kept on asking him to get more nude photos of her.
“We eventually broke up but he forced me to send more photos before a teacher found out about it.
“However, this month I received several messages from an unknown number threatening me to send more nude photos,” she told a press conference organised by Perak MCA Public Service and Complaints Bureau chief Low Guo Nan.
Anne, who is currently working in sales in Singapore, decided to lodge a second police report.
“Although the messages were sent by an unknown number, I am sure he (the ex-boyfriend) is behind this. Police must take action,” she said.Anne said she has changed her phone number and social media accounts, but somehow the man still managed to find her.
