GEORGE TOWN: Photographs showing a man resembling an Opposition Member of Parliament and a female party leader cosying up to each other have surfaced.
In the four grainy and undated photographs, a man and woman, whom netizens say resemble two politicians, are seated at a table in a restaurant with at least two other people.
In one photo, the woman is resting her head on the man's shoulder with his arm around her and their fingers entwined. Another photo shows them in the same position, apparently kissing.
The man is blocked from view in another photo as the woman drinks from a large wine glass.
The photos were widely shared in messaging apps and social media websites Tuesday, with comments on the pair's striking resemblance to the two political leaders.
The MP said to resemble the man in the photos did not respond when contacted on WhatsApp.
