PETALING JAYA: A dog was allegedly thrown out of the window of an apartment building by its owner.

A note and a picture of the dead dog was shared on social media by Facebook user Nina Zainal who claimed to have witnessed the aftermath of the incident.

"I know what you did to the poor dog whom you've mercilessly threw out of your balcony. For what reason you did that I don't want to know because there's no reason to be that cruel to any living things! I have reported you to the police and to (Society for the) Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)," said Nina in her note to her upstairs neighbour that committed the cruel act.

SPCA is the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.



In her Facebook post, Nina said that she found the dog after she heard a loud thud while watching television.



"I usually open the windows when I get back from work as I reared a cat.

"I then climbed the window to check what was it that fell, and to my horror it was the neighbour above that threw their dog out," she said.

She added that she knew it was the neighbour upstairs that committed the act as she heard them quickly closing the windows and loud footsteps of them running from above.

According to her post, she immediately reported the incident to the apartment security and also lodged a police report.

"I then went to the neighbour's house above mine and started shouting outside the house like a mad person because I was so angry as to how they could treat an animal in that manner," she said.
