Maid in faeces feeding case remanded

Maid to be charge at court on the force toddler to eat shit.

 

PETALING JAYA: An Indonesian maid (pic) who allegedly fed her employer’s toddler with faeces has been remanded for four days to facilitate investigations.

Clad in a lock-up uniform, the maid, who did not show any expression, was brought to the court here about 11am yesterday.

The maid seemed calm as she was led into the courtroom and did not even try to cover her face or avoid cameramen trying to take her pictures.

Subang Jaya deputy OCPD Supt Tan Ah Chua said the maid in her 40s would be remanded until Dec 19 to help in police investigation.

“We will arrange for the suspect to undergo a mental examination,” he said.

According to Harian Metro, the toddler had been sent to a hospital for treatment and his condition is improving.

The police are investigating the case under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001.
