SC suspends licence of Inter-Pacific Asset Management's Nazri Khan for six months
KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): The Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) has suspended the Capital Markets Services Representative's Licence of Inter-Pacific Asset Management Sdn Bhd (IPAM) executive director and fund manager Datuk Nazri Khan Adam Khan for six months, effective Oct 6.
IPAM’s management said it is currently appealing against the suspension, emphasising that the suspension was due to administrative breaches, and not about fund management.
It said that IPAM has a solid track record of more than 30 years in unit trust funds and portfolio management, governed by stringent rules and regulations set by the SC.
“Rest assured that your investment is in good hands and managed professionally by our highly qualified team of investment professionals at IPAM, and it is our commitment and priority to astutely manage your investment and achieve your desired goals,” it said in a statement on Wednesday (Oct 12).
It said that investors may contact customer service at (03) 2117 1888 or email enquiry_ipam@interpac.com.my for any queries.
