Snoop Dogg, Joe Flizzow sing JDT theme song

 

JDT's theme song, Pioneers sung by Snoop Dogg and Joe Flizzow was inspired by the club's determination and perseverance in setting new standards for football in Malaysia as well as the success achieved since 2013.

JOHOR BAHRU - The country's No 1 football club, Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT) continues to be a phenomenon when it forged a strategic collaboration with Universal Music Southeast Asia and recording company Def Jam through the production of the theme song titled Pioneers featuring world -renowned rapper, Snoop Dogg .

The owner of the football club, Tunku Mahkota Johor (TMJ), Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim said, JDT is always committed to give the best for the progress of the football club under its umbrella.

“When talking about the JDT club, I have said many times, this is not just a football club.

JDT is an empire. I not only created a mediocre football club but have internationally known aspirations.

TMJ also informed that at the beginning of the establishment of JDT, many people looked down on the future of the club which was predicted to only last for a few years, however, it has been proven otherwise

“I will do it no matter how many people do not believe in our project. Many people predicted that the club would only last for a period of two years. Today, we are 10 years old and we are getting stronger day by day.

“Building a football club is the hardest thing to get results. To get results and co -exist commercially, it’s something we can’t anticipate.

“Sometimes I pinch myself what is happening now is something real. Now that it has become a great club and moving forward, we will continue to be committed to introducing the brand to the rest of the world, ”explained TMJ.

Snoop through his Instagram which has 71.2 million followers also shared the Pioneers music video by quoting the lyrics in the song: “ Vision without execution is just a hallucination. (Vision without implementation is just a hallucination). ”

Pioneers sung by Snoop and Joe Flizzow, was published by SonaOne while the lyrics were inspired by JDT's determination and perseverance in setting new standards for football in Malaysia as well as the success achieved since 2013.

Vocal recordings were recorded in Los Angeles, USA and Kuala Lumpur while the process of song arrangement and music mixing was done in Los Angeles.

The Pioneers music video launched today was launched in all of JDT’s official social media accounts and JDT TV’s YouTube channel.
