JOHOR BAHRU - Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad has suggested in a statement released this afternoon that the BN leadership should choose a young leader to lead the state
"Seeing the support and position of young people who are important in the development of Johor and for the long -term prosperity of the state, I suggest that the party leadership elect a young leader to lead the state of Johor," he said in a statement on Monday.
He said the state government under his leadership had previously tried its best to make Johor resilient in facing the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"As I said on the eve of the Johor BN victory over the course of the day, there is no political ideology, politician and political party bigger, more important and more important than Johor. Now is the time for us to together build a more prosperous Johor.
"Alhamdulillah, thanks to ALLAH SWT because the Johor State Election (PRN) took place in harmony and smoothly," he said.
