Hamzah: No proof promotions within the police can be bought
Investigations by the authorities have found that there is no evidence to back up allegations that ranks and promotions within the police can be bought, Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin told Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 16).
When Hamzah answered questions on the allegations, the Dewan Rakyat experienced a fiery moment with opposition lawmakers R. Sivarasa and Ramkarpal Singh questioning whether claims by former IGP Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador on internal "cartels" within the police were taken seriously
