Malaysia qualified for quarter-finals of Junior Hockey World Cup in Bhubaneswar, India .after beating South Africa 4-3 in their final group match on Saturday.
Malaysia's four goals came through Mohd Fahmi Khalid (29th minute), Mohd Kamarulzaman Kamaruddin (41st), Mohd Shamir Rizmi Shamsul (49th) and captain Mohd Akhimullah Anuar Esook (56th). South Africa’s goals were scored by Jared Campbell (48th and 54th) and captain Guy Morgan (38th).

Malaysia held 2016 Junior World Cup runners-up Belgium 1-1 in their second Group A Junior Hockey World Cup match at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India,
Malaysia's first goal in the 29th minute was through midfielder Amirul Hamizan Azhar, fr a penalty corner.
Belgium equalized through Thibeau Stockbroekx, also form a penalty corner in the 49th minute.
Malaysia had won the first game against Chile 2-1.
Belgium lead the group on goal difference although both have four points from two matches
