SHAH ALAM: Police have arrested two more suspects believed to be involved in the attempted robbery of a home by a group of bikers at Bukit Kuchai, Serdang recently.
Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Noor Azam Jamaludin said the two were arrested on Feb 27.
"The suspects were in their 20s and 30s, and were arrested in a follow-up operation following the arrest of the first two suspects after the attempted robbery on Feb 21.
"We are investigating if the suspects have any prior record," he told reporters at the Selangor police headquarters on March 1.
The incident, which happened at around 5.40pm on Thursday (Feb 21), was caught on three separate videos that showed the robbers barging in after the victim opened the gate of his home.
The complainant was just leaving his home when about four motorcycles ridden by seven men rushed into his compound.
Two of the suspects ran towards the complainant armed with machetes.
The complainant ran back inside and locked the door as the two suspects tried to break in.
They then broke a window and stabbed the tyre of the man's car before escaping.
Two other cases were reported on the same day, where a man and woman were robbed in Taman Sri Andalas and Kampung Raja Uda in Klang respectively.
