Scrap metal trader beaten to death after fight at nightclub
KUALA LUMPUR: A scrap metal trader was beaten to death after a nightclub fight here on Monday.
Sentul Police deputy chief Supt Mohd Sukri Kaman said the fight broke out at a nightclub in Jalan Dutamas at 4am when the victim, known as Ashok, 31, began showing his dissatisfaction towards his friends.
"They tried to take it outside the club and the victim was seen to have been taken on a car ride to another place," he said.
Mohd Sukri said the victim's brother-in-law, who was also at the nightclub, was told by one of the suspects to pick up the victim in front of a restaurant in Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields."When he arrived at the location, he found the victim with severe injuries to the head and body. The victim died while on the way to Kuala Lumpur Hospital," he said.
Mohd Sukri said police believe three men were involved in the case, but only one has been identified so far. – Bernama
