JOHOR BARU: A lorry driver who allegedly had a sexual romp with a transvestite in his vehicle got into trouble as both were detained at the Johor checkpoint after his Indonesian 'lover' failed to provide a valid travel document.
It is learnt that the driver and the transvestite, both in their 30s, had a sexual encounter in Johor Baru in the lorry, hours before a scheduled delivery of construction materials to Singapore several days ago.
It is learnt that there was a "business dispute" and the transvestite refused to exit the vehicle and insisted on staying with the driver.
Security sources said the driver, who was running late on his delivery schedule, repeatedly asked the transvestite to get down from the lorry but ended going all the way to the Johor Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex, where he requested assistance from auxiliary policemen at the complex.
The policemen then detained the transvestite after he failed to provide any valid travel documents, while the driver was detained within the complex after he tried to flee.
A police report has since been lodged and both are being investigated.
A police official confirmed the incident and said that the Immigration Department was investigating the case.
