Police cut short fun time at KL entertainment outlet in Jalan Kuchai.

KUALA LUMPUR: Fun time for 55 people came to an abrupt end when police gatecrashed their party at an entertainment outlet in Jalan Kuchai.
All of them, including five transgenders from Thailand, were taken to the Brickfields district police headquarters for further investigations.
Bukit Aman’s Special Task Force for Anti-vice, Gaming and Gangsterism busted the entertainment outlet following a one-month surveillance on suspicion of harbouring foreigners involved in vice activities.
It is learnt that at the time of the raid early yesterday morning, guest relations officers (GROs) were busy entertaining their clients by dancing provocatively for them while negotiating the price for sex services.
The outlet, which has a licence from City Hall, also offers merchandise that patrons could buy as gifts for their favourite “entertainers”.
They range from necklaces, robes, sashes and tiaras costing RM50 to RM10,000.
Task force deputy commander Senior Asst Comm Khairi Ahrasa said the raiding party moved in at about 12.15am and found the GROs busy entertaining their clients.
“Forty-eight of the GROs, including the five transgenders, were from Thailand. They had no work permit and entered the country on a social visit pass. They are aged between 22 and 44.
“Checks showed that the GROs charged RM150 to RM450 for each sex session,” he said, adding that the outlet’s 52-year-old owner and the manager, 46, were also arrested.
He said 40 patrons — 31 Malaysian men, a Malaysian woman, six Myanmar men, a Thai and an Indonesian — were released after their particulars were taken down.
Police also seized RM508, seven robes, 68 sashes, 12 tiaras, a list of code numbers for the GROs and 15 credit card receipts.
“Those detained will be investigated for various offences, including hiring foreign workers who have no valid work permit and who violated their social visit passes,” he said.
