Khairy under fire, again/Google ImagesKUALA LUMPUR: Under pressure, Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin orders Pahang Umno Youth Wing to cancel its press conference scheduled at 4pm today.
According to sources, Khairy instead had agreed to meet all 14 Pahang Umno Youth Wing divisional chiefs at Ministry of Youth and Sports at 3pm tomorrow to deal with the matters raised by the Umno Youth Wing.
Earlier, 11 out of the 14 Pahang Umno Youth divisional chiefs wanted to call to question the character and decisions of Khairy in his capacity as Umno Youth Chief, which is seen to be overreaching and unacceptable by the Pahang Umno Youth divisions.
According to sources, the agenda of the meeting, among others, would have included the matter concerning the recent appointment of Pekan Umno Youth Chief Shahruddin Ahmad as the Pahang Umno Youth Chief. A memorandum of protest about the appointment was delivered to Khairy but was ignored.
This has made Khairy's leadership a disappointment as far as the Pahang Umno Youth Wing divisions are concerned.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Pahang Umno Youth Wing is going to hold a press conference at a prominent hotel in Kuala Lumpur at 4pm today.
The press conference, which will involve 11 out of 14 Pahang Umno Youth divisional chiefs, shall question the character and decisions of Khairy in his capacity as Umno Youth Chief, which is seen to be overreaching and unacceptable by the Pahang Umno Youth divisions.
According to sources, the agenda of the meeting, among others, will include the recent appointment of Pekan Umno Youth Chief Shahruddin Ahmad as the Pahang Umno Youth Chief.
