The BBQ Whole Lamb |
Themed Citarasa Kampung Ramadan Buffet, it really lived up to the name. It has the most live cooking stations featuring many classic dishes that simply tasted awesome. Going back to basics, they had a variety of Chicken, Lamb, Beef, Seafood and Vegetarian dishes, cooked in various different styles. I could not find one dish that i did not like. A Ramadan buffet cannot be a Feast without a Grilled Whole Lamb and that's just what they had. It is a must visit station as the Lamb was grilled to perfection, The lamb was so succulent with the black pepper and mint sauce that it almost melted in your mouth.
The Satay section is usually my favourite section in any buffet and Seri Pacific didn't disappoint as the Chicken & Beef Satay was grilled to perfection, crunchy on the outside and succulent inside on every single stick!. The Satay sauce was good too and not oily.

Another must have in most Ramadan buffets is the bubur lambuk, the comfort food during the holy month, where pot fulls are prepared and distributed to the community. The Seri Pacific bubur lambuk was quite delicious.

The Desert station has one of the most extensive selection of cakes, nyonya kuih, fruits, sweets and pastries. The Chocolate fondue was a crowd favourite. Kids loved watching their lollies getting coated by the great tasting chocolate.

The Chefs and the management of the hotel did a great job and did not spare any detail in trying to take guest back to the Kampung days. The Kampung House built, even had a Cockrel that looked so real kids were afraid to go near it at first ! The service staff was attentive and did their jobs very efficiently especially when it comes to clearing plates and cutlery. Chefs were very helpful and gave suggestions on how the food should be eaten especially when it came to local delicacies.

To keep the kids entertained they even put up two huge screens to show children's programmes! A "Kacang Man" rode around in a bicycle giving out peanuts like during the good old days, he doubled up as a magician and entertained the guest who barely could move after feasting on the food!
