Hussein Omar Khan appointed as the new Selangor Police Chief

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 (Bernama) -- Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department Deputy Director of Intelligence/Operations Datuk Hussein Omar Khan was appointed as the new Selangor Police Chief.

PDRM Secretary Datuk Noorsiah Saaduddin in a statement today said Hussien was appointed to the position with effect from March 13 next with the rank of Police Commissioner (CP).

Previously, Selangor Deputy Police Chief Datuk S. Sasikala Devi was appointed as acting Selangor Police Chief after Selangor Police Chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed retired on Jan 2.

Arjunaidi has served for 35 years in the PDRM and has served in seven Police Contingents namely Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Bukit Aman and Selangor.
