Since yesterday, the news of the arrest of a YouTuber and three of his friends to assist in the investigation into the death of the YouTuber's girlfriend after suffering severe injuries from being beaten before dying in an incident in Teluk Kumbar has gone viral on social media

According to a report from Harian Metro, Southwest District Police Chief Superintendent Kamarul Rizal Jenal informed that four men aged 23 to 28 had been detained around Teluk Kumbar to assist in the investigation into the murder case.
"Police received a report from a doctor at Balik Pulau Hospital (HBP), here at 10.39pm on Saturday informing that a 20 -year -old woman was taken to the hospital after being unconscious and in critical condition."
"Examination on the victim found that there were bruises on her head and whole body before the woman was sent to the Penang Hospital (HPP) for further treatment due to her critical condition," he said.
Lover & 3 men arrested by police
It is understood that the victim, also a YouTuber, died on April 3 while receiving treatment at HPP. Following that, four men including her boyfriend were arrested to assist in the investigation.
Because of Jealousy
The four men will be remanded until April 11 to assist in the investigation and will be investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which is the offense of murder.
Earlier, it was reported in news reports and on social media that a woman died after being allegedly beaten by her jealous boyfriend.
According to another source, the victim and her lover had been staying at their friend's rented house since arriving in the state on March 27 for a video on their YouTube site as the woman was from Melaka.
The victim was allegedly hit with a blunt object by her boyfriend after an altercation. The woman was rushed to HBP but was referred to HPP for further treatment before passing away.
