Touch Group Holdings director heads list of recipients of Pahang awards, medals

PEKAN, March 17 (Bernama) -- Touch Group Holdings Sdn Bhd director Tengku Datuk Muhamad Mazlan Tengku Putera Zainal Abidin heads the list of 95 recipients of the Pahang state award, medals and honours at the second investiture ceremony today in conjunction with the 62nd birthday of Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.


Pahang Regent Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah graced the ceremony held at Istana Abu Bakar here.


Also present was Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.


Tengku Muhamad Mazlan received the Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP) award which carries the title Datuk Seri. Other recipients of the SSAP award were Loverra Sdn Bhd director Datuk Syed Fauzi Syed Ahmad, Bukit Aman Integrity Department director Datuk Azri Ahmad and Internal Security and Public Order Department director Datuk Hazani Ghazali. 


Three individuals received the Sri Indera Mahkota Pahang (SIMP) award which carried the title Datuk Indera namely former Pahang Health director Datuk Dr Bahari Che Awang Ngah, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Centre of Community Education and Wellbeing chairman Professor Datuk Dr Abdul Razak Ahmad and IJM Corporation Berhad director Datuk Zohari Sulaiman.


Meanwhile, 11 other individuals received the Darjah Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (DSAP) award which carries the title Datuk namely Tijaz Corporation Sdn Bhd managing director Tengku Aslahuddin Ja’afar Tengku Azlan, SMGB Group Sdn Bhd managing director Tengku A’zran Abdul Jawaad Tengku Azlan, Pahang royal family member Tengku Amir Putra Tengku Kamal Bharin, HIS Holdings Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Tengku Aiman Putra Tengku Kamal Bharin and Global Banking Maybank Investment associate director Khairul Fahmy Ab Jabar.


Also received the DSAP award were International Islamic University Malaysia Kulliyah of Architecture and Environmental Design lecturer Profesor Datuk Dr Alias Abdullah, Ryal Malaysia Police secretary DCP Ruslan Khalid, Universiti Putra Malaysia vice-chancellor Profesor Dr Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, Public Service Department Human Capital Development Division director Dr Zainal Abidin Sait, senior director of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry Amran Ahmad and Agri Asia Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Jamil Haron.


Eighteen individuals received the Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award which carries the title Datuk namely the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission chairman Dr Fadhullah Suhaimi Abdul Malek, Pahang Fire and Rescue Department director Dr Wan Mohammad Zaidi Wan Isa, Pahang Syariah High Court Judge Muhammad Azhari Abd Rahman and former Pahang Department of Irrigation and Drainage director Mohd Noor Bidin.


Also recived the DIMP award were Maybank Investment Banking Group chief executive officer Datin Hamidah Moris, Butterworth Air Force Base deputy commander for Integrated Area Defence System Brig Gen Datuk Tong Veng Leong, General Operations Force Southeast Brigade Commander SAC Hasan Basri Ahmad Safar, Commander of Ulu Kinta VAT 69 Commando SAC Abdul Razak Mohd Yusoff.


KLCC Urusharta Sdn Bhd executive director Izwan Hasli Mohd Ibrahim, Aked Selasih Corporation Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Zulkifli Mohd Yusof, Northern Corridor Sports Promotions executive director Jasni Shafie, Tengku Ampuan Fatimah Board of Visitors chairman K.Munusamy and Malaysia Global Chamber of Commerce Buani Atiqi Abdul Rahman also received the DIMP award. 


Other recipients of the DIMP award were Kamasutra Living creative director Shahrum Shamsuddin, Ikhtiar Factoring Sdn Bhd managing director Noor Roslizam Alias, Redha Holdings Sdn Bhd managing director Rosmadi Zin, M&D World of Cars Sdn Bhd managing director Freddy Numan Lawan @ Akas Lawan and Temerloh UMNO secretary Razmi Sudin.


Also conferred at the ceremony were the Setia Ahmad Shah Pahang (SAP) award to four recipients Setia Mahkota Pahang (SMP) award (six recipients), Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP) (five recipients), Ahli Mahkota Pahang (AMP) (17 recipients), and nine recipients each for the Pingat Khidmat Cemerlang (PKC), Pingat Kelakuan Terpuji (PKT) and Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK) medals.


A reception was held after the ceremony which was graced by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah.
