KKM reported 26,250 new Covid-19 cases, (25,705 local cases and 545 imported cases) on March 12, bringing Total Covid-19 Cases to 3,801,036.
There were 77 deaths with 23 Brought in Dead (BID) bring the total deaths to 33,720
Penang recorded the highest death toll of 12 cases, followed by Kelantan and Selangor (11 each), Kedah (nine), Johor (eight), Perak (seven), Perlis and Terengganu (four), Negeri Sembilan and Kuala Lumpur (respectively -three each), Sabah (two) and Melaka, Pahang and Sarawak (one each).
25,089 recoveries were recorded.
8,691 people were hospitalised. Of this, 367 are in intensive care units (ICU), 211 of whom require ventilators.
