KAJANG: A motorcyclist was killed and four vehicles damaged after stacks of logs fell from a lorry at KM28 of the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway.
Kajang traffic chief Deputy Supt Azmi Wahid said the lorry was travelling to Semenyih on the fast lane when it skidded and crashed into a road divider at about 9.05am yesterday.
“The lorry ran over a motorcycle. The 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed on the spot.
“The impact of the collision dislodged the logs from the lorry,” he said.
DSP Azmi said the logs fell onto three cars and a four-wheel drive vehicle.
“We believe the accident was caused by the lorry driver’s negligence,” he said, adding that the case has been classified as reckless driving under the Road Transport Act.
