Clashes broke out between supporters during the first leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup semifinal football match between Vietnam and Malaysia at Shah Alam stadium in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday evening. Towards the end of the match, a section of Malaysia supporters reportedly began throwing plastic bottles at the Vietnamese fans, leading both sides to fight.
