Anwar fractures arm in minor accident, Wan Azizah unhurt

atuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and wife Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were involved in a minor car accident in Desa Sri Hartamas at about 10pm tonight.

According to PKR communication director Fahmi Fadzil, Anwar sustained minor injury to his right arm, "a slight fracture near his shoulder", while PKR president Wan Azizah escaped unhurt.
They were immediately sent to Damansara Specialist Hospital in Damansara Utama, Petaling Jaya, where they received outpatient treatment at the hospital's accident and emergency ward.
PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution was also seen at the hospital but it is not known if he was travelling with the couple earlier.
Both Anwar and Wan Azizah have been discharged from the hospital and have returned home safely. – May 13, 2014.
