
Maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja returns to Malaysia to entertain local fans with the mega concert Raaja Rhapsody which will take place at the National Hockey Stadium, Bukit Jalil tomorrow.
Fans who have been waiting for the famous maestro's concert for a long time will be presented with an extraordinary experience.
Raaja Rhapsody will feature a grand orchestra that brings together more than 60 professional musicians from India and Budapest, Hungary.
In fact, for the first time in history, the epic musical combination will be led by him on the Malaysian stage.
A special segment will also be presented in the concert to celebrate the uniqueness of the background score (BGM) in Ilaiyaraaja's works.
In a recent press conference, the organisers, Pink Creative Agency said, more than six of the most iconic score will be revived in full orchestra, highlighting the importance of BGM in conveying emotions and reinforcing the storytelling of a film.
Through a combination of deep visuals and evocative orchestral melodies, the segment is expected to spark a phenomenon in Raaja Rhapsody.
Apart from that, the stage will also be shared by popular singers such as Hariharan, SPB Charan, Vijay Prakash, Vibhavari Apte Joshi, Madhu Balakrishnan, Karthik, Shweta Mohan, Haricharan and Priyanka.
