Mother and daughter slashed to death, crying three-year old left unharmed
Both the victims were discovered by a family member at their home in Jalan Beladau.
JOHOR BARU: A mother and her 16-year-old daughter were found brutally murdered in a room inside their home in Taman Puteri Wangsa in Ulu Tiram here.
The victims, with multiple slash wounds, have since been identified as M. Mariayee, 56, and daughter C. Durga Devi.
Mariayee was found with slash wounds to the left ribs, neck and body while Durga had wounds on her abdomen, neck, mouth and arms.
Both the victims, were discovered by a family member at their home in Jalan Beladau at 10.30am.
However the killer did not harm a three-year-old grandchild who was crying beside the dead victims.
So far no arrest have been made and police have also not discovered the murder weapon.They do not rule out the possibility that the case was due to revenge as the daughter has been "stalked" by a man recently.
