Home of Zahid Hamidi's daughter burgled, former driver suspect

   
KUALA LUMPUR: The house of the daughter of Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was allegedly broken into by her former driver on Saturday.


Nurul Hidayah told police she suspected that it was the driver who entered her Country Heights home using a key that he had while under her employment.

The suspect is believed to have rumaged through the house before making off with two watches and RM1,000.

Kajang OCPD ACP Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab confirmed the incident and that Nurul Hidayah had lodged a report. He declined to disclose details of the case.

Ahmad Zahid also confirmed the case but said no one was injured and "a few things" were taken from the house
