KUALA LUMPUR: The Big 2 Super K-POP concert featuring popular South Korean artists (G)I-DLE and BamBam which was scheduled to take place on June 14 has been cancelled due to unavoidable reasons.
The Big 2 Super K-POP concert featuring (G)I-DLE and BamBam on June 14, 2025 was canceled due to unavoidable factors as well as compliance with local cultural laws and guidelines.
The organiser, Live Universe Entertainment, will refund the ticket payment in full via the Ticket2U and TikTok platforms, with further instructions sent to buyers.
Fans have expressed disappointment over the cancellation, including those who had planned a trip to Kuala Lumpur, but the organisers remain committed to bringing world-class entertainment to Malaysia in the future.
The organisers of Live Universe Entertainment said in a statement that the decision was made after careful consideration and taking into account compliance with local laws as well as cultural guidelines.
"We regret to inform that the Big 2 K-POP Super Concert featuring (G)I-DLE & BamBam, which was originally scheduled to take place on June 14, 2025 in Malaysia, has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances beyond our control.
"This decision was made after careful consideration and with full respect of local laws, regulations, and cultural guidelines.
"Although all the necessary requirements have been met, this event could not go ahead as planned.
"We sincerely apologize to our fans, artists, sponsors, and partners for any inconvenience that has arisen," the statement read.
Meanwhile, Live Universe Entertainment informed that the ticket purchase money will be fully refunded through the Ticket2U platform.
"All ticket purchases will be fully refunded through Ticket2U. Detailed instructions will be sent to the ticket holder via email.
"For purchases made through TikTok, we will refund the payment directly to the buyer's account, as we have access to the relevant transaction details through our TikTok Shop system.
"We will contact the buyer to verify their email address and bank account information to ensure that the refund process runs smoothly," he said.
The organisers also reiterated their commitment to continue offering world-class entertainment experiences to fans in Malaysia.
"We remain committed to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences in Malaysia and appreciate your continued support and understanding.
"Thank you for your trust and cooperation," he said.
Looking at the comments section, most fans are clearly disappointed with the news of the concert cancellation. It is understood that there are fans who are willing to fly from far away to come to Kuala Lumpur to watch the concert.
