JITRA: A three-year-old girl died after her mother knocked into her while she was parking a car in Kampung Lahar here Sunday.
Nur Umairah Salaiman was rushed to the hospital by the mother, Rasikhah Nik Nyan, 48, after the incident at about 5pm and died later.

The mother had arrived at a relative's house to pick her other three children while inside the car was the deceased and another sibling, both of whom had alighted without the mother realising it.
They were running into the house when Rasikhah accelerated and rammed into Nur Umairah.
Rasikhah came down from her car and was shocked to find Nur Umairah underneath it. She rushed her in the car to Jitra Hospital.
Kubang Pasu police chief Supt Abd. Rahim Abdullah confirmed the incident and said the mother is being investigated for reckless driving.
