Sources at the scene said a team of officers from the Federal Commercial Crime Department are here to seize documents and evidence related to an ongoing investigation. Details of the supposed investigation are unavailable at the moment.
A police truck is seen carrying boxes, widely believed to be used to store any evidence seized.
Lawyer Hasnal Rezua Merican was seen entering the residence at 11.05pm.
NSTP is attempting to seek more details from police on the operation.

Najib, accompanied by outriders, had earlier gone to perform his terawih prayers at the Kampung Baru mosque. His vehicle left the house sometime after 8pm and returned around 9.50pm.
Najib had earlier tweeted his gratitude at having the opportunity to perform the terawih. He also quoted a hadith (Bukhari), which states that ‘those who enliven the night of Ramadan with faith, in the hopes of receiving Allah’s blessings, will be forgiven for their past transgressions’.
“May we always be blessed by Allah,” wrote Najib.
