One Of Malaysia's Best Restaurant & Bar Marini@57 celebrated their First Anniversary Party on the October 31, 2013. It was an event that the Who's Who of Kuala Lumpur could not miss.
Guest who arrived at 6.30pm were welcomed with a free flow of Carlsberg Beer, however the festivities truly started at 7pm when they started bringing out the champagne. This got every one in the mood to party. There was unlimited White Wine, Red Wine and whisky going around too accompanied by delicious finger foods and pizzas. A buffet was laid out with pasta and salads for the more famished guest's.
For entertainment they had a few guest singers and comedians to perform throughout the night. Before the Resident DJ's took over to bring the party up a notch

The Man behind Marini@57 is non other than Modesto Marini who is no newbie to the Kuala Lumpur Fine Dining Party Scene.

Modesto Marini, the founder of Marini’s on 57, strongly believes that quality ingredients make a dish. Putting his passion into action has resulted in Modesto being one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the food and entertainment industry, to the point of being called “The King of Italian Cuisine” by The Star, Malaysia’s No. 1 English language newspaper.
Graduating with high honours in culinary arts in Italy in 1986, he spent two years working as a sous chef at the famous Cecconi’s restaurant in Mayfair, London – a top Italian restaurant favoured by celebrities such as Sean Connery and more. He later spent four years in Singapore as a chef in Da Paolo and opened two restaurants.
Modesto came to Kuala Lumpur in 1995 and after a stint as the chef at Flamenco in Kuala Lumpur; he co-founded the Modesto’s Chain of Restaurants and Clubs.
Throughout his career, Modesto has cooked for the who’s who of celebrities from Valentino Rossi, Max Biaggi, Reubens Barichello, Felipe Massa, Eric Cantona to legendary rock group, The Scorpions.
Being well versed on mapping out a concept and understanding exactly how it needs to look and to be set up, all the way from the kitchen to the front entrance, he established Marini’s on 57 in 2012, Kuala Lumpur’s highest rooftop restaurant, lounge and bar on Tower 3 Petronas in 2012.
Long famed for his creativity in the industry, Modesto is now, with Marini’s on 57, becoming a catalyst for putting Kuala Lumpur on the global map of contemporary fine dining.
