Body of accident victim found at Kajang bus stop nearly 4km from crash site

KAJANG: A victim of a car accident was found dead nearly 4km away from the original crash site.
District OCPD Asst Comm Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof (pic) said that the body of the 33-year old man was found at the Sungai Kantan bus stop on Sunday morning.
He added that the police are currently investigating why the victim was found so far from the original scene, and asked for witnesses to come forward to aid their investigations.
Checks on the victim showed no signs of injuries that could be tied to foul play.
"There were slight injuries at the knee and hand. The case is currently classified as a SDR (Sudden Death Report) until the results of the post mortem is released," he said.
"Investigations showed that at about 5.30am, a white Myvi lost control at the Desa Sri Jenaris bus stop. At the scene, we found traces of spilled oil and a car bumper and marks on the bus stop itself," he said.
ACP Ahmad Dzaffir said that the car of the deceased was sent back to his home and checks on the vehicle showed that two airbags were deployed.
