Bus accident near Pagoh kills three

MUAR: Three people died in an accident involving an express bus, a container lorry and a tanker near the Pagoh exit at the Pagoh North-South Expressway south bound.
The bus driver, identified as 50-year-old Shuaib K.K. Mohammad from Kampung Kurnia Jaya, Kamunting in Perak, was one of the victims.
Muar Fire and Rescue Department senior assistant officer Marzuki Ismail said the department received a distress call at around 1.08pm.
He said 13 firemen with three fire engines from the Muar Fire station 10 firemen and two fire engines from the Bukit Gambir Fire station were deployed to the accident scene.
He said the identities of the two female passengers have yet to be determined.
