Guan Eng shows photos of BN leaders with wife of 'Datuk Seri'

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Chief Minister distributed photos on Monday of Barisan Nasional leaders with the wife of a "Datuk Seri" businessman being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
"Will the BN media question and seek explanations from the BN minister about them taking photos with the Indian businessman's wife?" asked Lim Guan Eng (pic).
"Looking at so many photos of his wife with BN leaders, it is clear that both of them are strong BN supporters.
"That is why the BN media is advised to remember 'not to throw stones when you live in glass houses'," he told a press conference in Komtar Monday (March 19).
The photo shows Lim and the 37-year-old "Datuk Seri", who is being investigated for allegedly receiving RM19mil to “help settle” the MACC’s probe on Penang’s controversial undersea tunnel and three highways project.
The photo was taken in a car with Lim and the "Datuk Seri" together in the back seat, both smiling widely.
A caption that went with the photograph claimed that it was taken in August last year.
In early March, a photo of Lim and the "Datuk Seri" showing both of them wearing socks but no shoes, standing on a carpeted floor, went viral. The photo was believed to have been taken at a private residence.
