KUALA LUMPUR: The electric train service (ETS) between the Kuang and Rawang stations has been temporarily suspended as an overhead cable has snapped. A Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) spokesman, in a statement, said maintenance works were currently being carried out at the affected area and advised passengers to use alternative services to their destinations.

“A shuttle bus service is available from Sungai Buloh to Rawang. Train services for Tanjung Malim–Serendah and Port Klang–Sungai Buloh are operating as usual. We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the spokesman said. The spokesman added that passengers can contact the KTMB customer service centre at 03-22671200 or go to KTMB’s official Twitter account at @ktm_berhad for the latest information. KTMB put on a service disruption announcement on their Twitter account about 3pm.
