KUALA LUMPUR: Morten Frost has resigned as the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) technical director.
It was confirmed that Frost tendered his resignation on Sept 11 citing personal reasons.
"Morten has resigned. We have accepted his decision," said BAM president Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria after chairing the coaching and training committee (CNT) meeting.
"We take it in an amicable way. We thank him for what he has done and wish him the best."
All the five head coaches - Misbun Sidek (men's singles), Cheah Soon Kit (men's doubles), Tey Seu Bock (women's singles) Wong Pei Ty (women's doubles) and Chin Eei Hui (mixed doubles) - will report directly to CNT.
Frost, who joined Malaysia in 2015 and has a contract that runs until 2020, has been under pressure following uninspiring results this year.
