The horrific accident involving students of a tahfiz school, at Kampung Telekong, Kuala Krai today, has claimed yet another life.

KOTA BARU: The horrific accident involving students of a tahfiz school, at Kampung Telekong, Kuala Krai today, has claimed yet another life.
Muhammad Hakimi Muhamad Dahalan, 17, died at 3.30pm at the Kuala Krai Hospital.
His death, confirmed by a hospital spokesman, brings the total number of fatalities to seven.
A total of 14 students from the Pusat Tahfiz Al-Hashimi Kampung Tualang were in a van, headed to Kota Baru, where they were due to attend a Ramadan Tadarus Quran recital programme at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium.
However, at 9.30am, the van skidded off the road and crashed into a house in Kampung Telekong.
Firemen rushed to the scene and spent almost half an hour removing the bodies from the wreckage.
Initial reports said six students died at the scene, while the rest of the injured were brought to the Machang and Kuala Krai hospitals.
Muhammad Hakimi’s death while in hospital brought the number of fatalities even higher to seven.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
