Woman killed after BMW lands in ditch
The car, which was said to be driven by her brother-in-law, had hit a "puddle" during a downpour and skidded, before landing in a ditch.
ALOR SETAR: A 25-year-old woman died on the spot when the BMW car she was travelling in skidded and landed in a ditch on Saturday evening.
The deceased was identified as Nur Farihah Jaffar, 25, of Kampung Bonggol Petai, Pendang.
She was expecting to celebrate her birthday on April 30th.
The victim was travelling with her family members when the accident occurred at KM43 of the North-South Expressway near Hutan Kampung here at 10.40pm on Saturday.

Three children, aged between 3 and 8, sustained light injuries and were receiving treatment at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here.
Nur Farihah's father Jaffar Abdullah, 66, was too distraught to speak to reporters at the hospital's mortuary.
