Kelantan police chief dies at IJN of heart and kidney complications

 

KOTA BARU: Kelantan police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Dr Ab Rahman Ismail (pic) died at Institut Jantung Negara in Kuala Lumpur at about 3.45pm Sunday.

Dr Ab Rahman, who had heart and kidney complications, was admitted to IJN on Friday.

The office of the Kelantan Chief Police Officer confirmed the news.

Dr Ab Rahman was appointed Kelantan police chief in July last year.

Before coming to Kelantan, he was deputy director of the Integrity and Standards Compliance (Religion and Counselling) Department at the federal police headquarters in Bukit Aman.
