PETALING JAYA: Lee Chong Wei and Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying made it double joy for Malaysia by reaching the semi-finals of the All-England badminton championships on Friday.

The world No. 1 Chong Wei was rock solid in his 21-12, 21-15 win over Tian Houwei of China in a 45-minute quarter-final match at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on Friday.
The three-time All-England champion will take on Chou Tien-chen of Taiwan in the semi-final on Saturday.
His nemesis Lin Dan of China also came through when he slogged to beat Viktor Axelsen of Denmark 8-21, 21-14, 21-15 in a 69-minute match. Lin Dan will cross swords with China's Shi Yuqi next.
