Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak made a surprise visit to the Top spot restaurant, a famous seafood eatery

KUCHING: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak made a surprise visit to the Top spot restaurant, a famous seafood eatery in the city tonight.
Patrons were caught by surprise when they saw Najib, clad in a blue batik shirt, entering the premise at 8pm.
Some of them even rushed towards Najib to shake his hands and take photographs with him.
Najib was accompanied by Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Abang Openg, State Local Government Minister Professor Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, Assistant State Minister Datuk Lee Kim Shin and State Secretary Tan Sri Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani.
Robert Tony, 40, and his wife, Wilma Yolande, 39, were among those at the eatery who managed to take selfies with Najib.
"This is the first time I met the PM in person. He is humble and friendly.
"This is truly a night to remember for us all," said Robert.
Another patron, Azmah Mohd Yasin, 62, from Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan also shared the same excitement although she had previously met Najib in person.
Azmah was with nine of her friends, who are alumni of SM Tunku Kurshiah, Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan from class of 1962-1972.
