[Video] Harith Iskander Announces He Is In The Finals Of Funniest Person In The World

KUALA LUMPUR: On stage last night at the Teatteri Forum, Helsinki for the Semi Finals of @laughfactoryhw 'Funniest Person in the World' competition, Malaysia’s most lovable Harith Iskander managed to bag a spot in the finals!
Iskandar made a video announcement of his success on Facebook as he high-fived the videographer enthusiastically, apparently too content to hold it in.
He also expresses his deepest gratitude to all those who has been supporting and voting for him throughout, notably Tourism Malaysia and Singapore Airlines.
The finals will be held at Levi Lapland on December 8th and the screening time will be 2AM due to time zone difference.
Results of the finals will only be based on online voting so get your hands ready Malaysians and start voting for Harith Iskandar!

"It will be 100% online voting that will decide the results of the finals," he said, adding that more information would be released in the upcoming days on his Instagram, Twitter and Facebook account.
Harith will be joined by four other contestants, namely Alex Calleja (Philippines), Mino Van Nassau (India), David Kilimnick (Israel) and Katerina Vrana (Greece) at the grand finals in Levi, Finland on Dec 8.
He previously also defeated 88 others, including fellow Malaysian Dr Jason Leong in the first round.
The winner will be announced in the closing gala of the competition after Finnish-comedian Ismo Leikola's live performance on Dec 10.
The winner and title of "The Funniest Person in the World," will receive the grand prize of USD$100,000 (RM444,845), while those in second and third place will receive US$10,000 (RM44,484) and US$5,000 (RM22,242) respectively.
The competition is organised by Laugh Factory, a global comedy chain in the United States.
As online votes make up half the score of the competition, Malaysians can vote for Harith online until Dec 8.
