PETALING JAYA: Air Asia group chief executive officer Tan Sri Tony Fernandes has denied endorsing get-rich-quick schemes that claim he had revealed his secret to making as much as $300 (RM1240) per day from home.

“Yes complete false. I have nothing to do with this,” he told the Star Online on Monday.

In a statement On Monday, Air Asia added that Fernandes has not endorsed these advertisements and urged the public from sharing them.

“We refer to sponsored advertisements on Facebook linking to articles claiming to quote AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes, e.g. "They will eat me alive for this!", "They'll take my head, every Malaysian needs to watch this", "They want my head for revealing this secret’,” said the company.



Air Asia also urged the public to refer to official social media channels or other credible news sources if they wanted to know more about Fernandes or AirAsia.
