"We will discuss with JAIPP to know to what extent has the action by Namewee in singing and recording the act in the mosque insulted Islam," he said.

The controversial rapper is being remanded for four days since for investigations into a music video which allegedly insulted Islam.

Namewee was detained at the KL International Airport (KLIA) on Sunday upon arrival from abroad under Section 295 of the Penal Code.
