A woman real estate agent was shot dead and her daughter injured in a shooting incident at Jalan Hujan Emas 4 in Taman OUG, Kuala Lumpur, today.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Rusdi Md Isa said the 32-year-old victim died at the scene in the 2.30pm incident.
"During the incident, the victim was driving a Toyota Vellfire vehicle with her five children, aged between two and 13 years, and a maid.
"The victim and her family had just finished eating at a restaurant nearby and wanted to go to Penang for a holiday when two male suspects riding a motorcycle shot her," Rusdi told reporters at the scene.
He said the suspects fired five shots from close range at the driver's side window and upon inspection, the police found a gunshot wound on her neck.
Rusdi said the victim's daughter, aged eight years, was also injured and rushed to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for further treatment.
He said the woman’s body has been taken to UMMC for post-mortem. The motive of the incident is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

On social media sites and youtube A video posted on YOUTUBE by FB Top News has been going viral online showing a motorcycle with two men speeding away about the same time and place as the shooting of a woman real estate agent in OUG.
The 24th second of the video it shows the motorist passing by the TNB Mini station on the left about where the shooting incident took place.
In the 37th second of the video 6 loud blast like gunshots can be heard.
In the 54th second of the video two men on a motorcycle can be seen speeding away.
More information from the police should be forthcoming as the above youtube video has not benn verified by the police.
