What started as a case of road rage has turned a 30-year-old lorry driver into the champion of all frustrated road users who have ever been stuck in gridlock caused by inconsiderate motorists who leave their cars in the middle of the road as they run down to a nearby shop to make a purchase.
Faceboook user Sri Sanjeevan Ramakrishnan had shared the video footage of the lorry driver's actions on Sunday, 21 February which has since been viewed and shared by thousands.

When photographs and a video first emerged of the carnage caused by the lorry driver who ploughed through 22 cars blocking the road, many thought that Malaysians would be calling out for stiffer penalties against the extreme show of road rage but remarkably, many netizens chose to side with the lorry driver.

"Bagus, I need the same driver in batu 3 and PJ, let them have a taste of their own medicine," Veda Nakiran Chakrawarty wrote on Facebook.
Harivin Krishnan even went as far as to nominate the lorry driver for a state award, Vulcanpost reports.
"The lorry driver deserves a Datukship, more than Shah Rukh Kahn does," he wrote.
Facebook user Shah Benny said, “I don’t blame the lorry driver…let this incident be a lesson to all who park their cars blocking the road…”
Another social media user who agreed with Shah Benny, Tony Chen said, “I fully support the lorry driver for taking such drastic action to drive out, too often we encounter such selfish drivers who only think for themselves.”
“How can we go about hiring this driver? Services needed in Klang... Multiple locations!” said Jeremaiah Dawson Lazarus, as reported by a local English news daily.
Chandrasegaran Uthamaseelan also shared his urge to teach inconsiderate drivers a lesson on Facebook
.
“Good job lorry driver. I don’t blame him. It’s a lesson to all drivers who love to park as though the road belongs to their grandfather,” he said.
However, while many netizens chose to use the incident to vent their own pent-up frustration over their daily run-ins with inconsiderate motorists who double park many eventually concede that if everyone started doing the same, society will descend into chaos.
"But I strongly believe the lorry driver is also at wrong. Thank goodness there is no injury reported. Can you imagine what would happened if anybody was trapped in one of those damaged cars?" Muhammad Hatta Dzulkefli pointed out.
“The market-goers were wrong to have parked their cars there and blocked the way, but it doesn’t mean that the lorry driver should resort to such move. He is still at fault anyway, he must be responsible for all the damages he made,” Mohd Falcon shared his opinion.
“As much as I find it somewhat good, I’m still against the lorry driver’s behaviour of intentionally damaging people’s cars... though I’d prefer using a tank to crush these cars,” Kenny Yeap Lin Chung concluded, highlighting how netizens secretly wished they could teach inconsiderate drivers a lesson while realizing that the rule of law must be observed in a civilized society.
