Marini's on 57 " 2015 Chinese New Year Celebration Party At the Top"

Marini's on 57 had their Chinese New Year Party on February 23, 2015 with a Golden theme.

The party at Marini's started with a Lion Dance performance by the three Lions led by the Chinese God of Prosperity Cai Shen, who gave out mandarin oranges to all the guest. The Lions were accompanied by a drum and cymbals troop, seeing an Indian performer among them was kinda of nice, To see the youth of Malaysia mixing around and participating in each others culture.

Modesto Marini and Elizabeth Marini then participated in the Lion Dance ceremony and tossed the "Salmon" Yee Sang with some of their invited VIP guest. They then went around greeting all their guest.

The folks at Marini's kept the drinks flowing for all the guest from 5pm to 9pm. Needless to say many were already in the mood or high by 10pm. They served a free flow of White& Red wines, Beer, Carbonated Drinks and Juices. You could see many happy faces in the crowd.

Throughout the night canape's were served. My favourite was the lasagnia and tiramisu. In case the canapes were not enough Marini's prepared a full buffet too!!! So believe me when i say no one was left thirsty or hungry.

Good food and drinks alone does not make a great party, Marini's on 57 Owners, Managers and staff were great host too. Service at Marini's throughout the nice was efficient, warm and friendly.

As Modesto and his wife Elizabeth attended to the VIP guest, the staff and management team led by Selva mingled around and attended to all the other guest needs.

The final touch of class came, when the management went around to some of their regular guest & media and thanked them for their patronage and support by passing them an exclusive CD with a personalized message.

The dress code color theme for the night was Gold, while almost all the guys didn't follow the dress code theme, some ladies cheated by just donning gold jewellery. However there were a handful of ladies who paid attention to detail and thus were in their golden splendour from head to toe.

Datuk Julie Lim followed the "Gold" dress code theme and was certainly one of the best dressed for the night.

Although the theme was Gold one of the most stunning outfits of the night was worn by Puteri Anita who was dressed in a red dress fit for a princess!

It has always baffled me, when some club owner invite guest to their parties and  start stinging on the drinks and food. In one recent event, an owner who was celebrating Christmas and his birthday invited a whole lot of people, instead of treating the guest, he made the guest buy their own drinks ( preferably a bottle) and made it an event to improve the days takings.

In most cases they are not paying for the parties out of their own pockets as most clubs have deals with liquor companies to sponsor the festive parties. In Kuala Lumpur two clubs that constantly stand out when it come to throwing great parties are Zeta Bar, Hilton Kuala Lumpur and Marini's on 57, Petronas Tower 3
