The Super Bowl (the American football event that’s a pretty big deal in the US) has come and gone, along with the half-time show and exceptional commercials, including new trailers for some of the year's most anticipated films.
Luckily for those who missed the original broadcast, these seven must-see trailers await viewers on YouTube.
Fifty Shades Of Grey
The latest teaser for the erotic drama turns up the heat, but without giving anything away. The film on the kinky adventures of an innocent young woman (Dakota Johnson) and an S&M-savvy billionaire (Jamie Dorman), adapted from the bestselling book trilogy, arrives in theatres on Feb 13.
Furious 7
The latest movie in the Fast And Furious franchise promises to deliver the souped-up cars and fight scenes fans have come to expect. This time, Vin Diesel and his crew – including Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson, among others – face a new enemy played by Jason Statham.
Helmed by James Wan (The Conjuring), Furious 7 will be released on April 3.
Tomorrowland
Directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles), Tomorrowland follows a brilliant teen (Britt Robertson) and a former boy genius (George Clooney) in their discovery of a hidden, futuristic world. The Disney feature is released on May 22.
Jurassic World
Colin Trevorrow’s Jurassic World, which promises to be one of the top blockbusters of summer 2015, places Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Vincent d’Onofrio and Omar Sy in a new dinosaur attraction park.
The new Jurassic Park reboot/sequel opens June 12.
Inside Out
The latest animated movie from Pixar, Inside Out centres on Riley, a 10-year-old girl who is having a hard time coping with life in a new city. The emotions she faces come to life as various characters Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness.
Inside Out arrives in theatres on June 19.
Group hug!
Seth McFarlane returned to the director's chair for the sequel to his off-color comedy starring Mark Walhberg. The writer and director also voices the title character, a foul-mouthed teddy bear who came to life when his owner made a wish as a child.
Several decades later, Ted has married the woman of his dreams and is trying to become a father.
Ted 2 opens on June 26.
Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as the famous Terminator T800, but the world around him has changed. While John Connor has once again sent one of his soldiers into the past to save his mother, the passage of time has shifted and there are new enemies in the picture.
Helmed by Alan Taylor, Terminator Genisys also features Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, Matt Smith and J.K. Simmons. The action movie hits theatres on July 1.
