Pakistani hypnotist wanted by cops in Shah Alam

PETALING JAYA: Police are looking for a man believed to be a Pakistani national who allegedly hypnotised woman into giving away her jewellery in Seksyen 20, Shah Alam near here.
“Investigations revealed that the man, who was on a red motorcycle, was pretending to sell fabrics to the woman in her 60s, who was alone in the house at the time.
“The man then waved a piece of cloth on her face to hypnotise her,” the Shah Alam police said in a statement Friday.
The statement said that when the husband of the victim returned home at 6pm, he found his wife dazed.
“The husband also found that all the jewellery that his wife was wearing and kept in the cupboard was missing,” the statement said adding that police were not able to identify the registration number of the motorcycle and the suspect based on information given by neighbours.
The Shah Alam police also urged people to be more careful if they were approached by the man and to contact the district police headquarters hotline at 03-5520 2022.
