Dead Malaysian girl thrown from the Air Maxx 360 ride in Royal Adelaide Show identified as Adelene Leong

KUALA LUMPUR: South Australia Police has released the identity of the eight-year-old Malaysian girl who was killed after she was flung out of her seat from a spinning ride at the Royal Adelaide Show in Australia, on Friday.
In a statement posted in the South Australia Police Facebook page, they had posted a photo of Adelene Leong, which was chosen personally by the victim’s mother.
Along with the photograph of the cheerful child flashes peace signs into the camera, her mother had described Adelene as ‘my lovely beautiful…wonderful little angel of my heart,” the posting said.
The photograph was released by the police with hope that it would prompt witnesses that recognized her to come forward to assist in probe.
On Friday, Adelene who was visiting Adelaide with her family was thrown from the Air Maxx 360 ride.
The country’s police are working closely with Safework South Australia to investigate the cause of the freak accident and the ride has been seized.

The Facebook posting said police are still in the midst of preparing a report for the Coroner.
