ASTRO LAUNCHES NEW USER FRIENDLY TV GUIDE - AWESOME!

EXPERIENCE THE FIRST IN MALAYSIA: A TV GUIDE THAT SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE. English | Bahasa Malaysia | Chinese | Tamil. Your Astro will be upgraded with a new TV Guide from 24 Feb to 6 Apr in phases. Put your decoder on standby mode for upgrading to take place.
Designed to cater to your needs, Astro's TV Guide now comes in your preferred language. To further enrich your viewing experience, we've also enhanced the search function and make several interactive features easier to use.
A QUICK LOOK AT SOME BASIC FEATURES. Select Your Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) Language. Allows you to set the EPG language in Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese or Tamil.Press the GUIDE button to launch the TV Guide. Press the HI button. Scroll left/right to select your preferred EPG language and press OK.
Home Menu. Your one-stop page for accessing the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG) and its interactive buttons. Press the HOME button to access the main menu.
Search. A powerful and versatile search function lets you find what you need conveniently. To access Search, you need to first connect your PVR to your home internet. Then press the SEARCH button, enter a keyword with your remote control, and press OK. You can also search within the TV Guide, VOD Library or My TV, and narrow it down further by filtering results by source, broadcast date and time, category, language or year of release.
ACCESS YOUR PVR RECORDINGS AND VIDEO ON DEMAND DOWNLOADS EASILY. Beyond your regular TV viewing, the PVR decoder lets you record your favourite programmes and download whatever you wish from the Video On demand (VOD) library. PVR recordings and Video On Demand (VOD) downloads are stored in a section called My TV.
Bookings. Shows all your scheduled recordings and upcoming Series Link episodes. Press the HOME button, select 'My TV', then select 'Bookings'. All programmes you have pre-set to record are saved here, including Series Link episodes. From here, you can cancel bookings for any individual titles, as well as an entire series.
My Library. Shows your recorded programmes and completed VOD downloads. Press the HOME button, select 'My TV', then select 'My Library'. From here, you can choose to watch your recorded and downloaded programmes, or delete them as you see fit. You also have the option to delete individual Series Link episodes, or have the entire series in one go. Tips: All episodes will be grouped together with the '+' symbol. Select 'Open' to reveal all recorded episodes and choose which episode you want to watch.
Download. Allows you to manage your VOD download priorities. Press the HOME button, select 'My TV', then select 'Download Manager'. From here, you can prioritise or cancel VOD purchases and downloads. Just scroll through your download list to select which titles to download immediately.
